Panamanian-American artist Nmon Ford brings to life the classic tale of Orpheus and his love for Eurydice in a 90-minute show. Set in the future, the new work blurs the lines of opera, house music and theater. Directed by award-winning film, television and Broadway director Charles Randolph-Wright (Oprah network’s Delilah, Netflix’s Greenleaf, Broadway’s Trouble in Mind and Motown: The Musical), the free-to-the-public May 10 Preview concert performance will leave audiences anticipating the June 2024 Charlotte premiere of House of Orfeus: A house music opera.
